Sarah Pochin MP is campaigning to improve access to further education, apprenticeships and skills training across Runcorn, Frodsham and Helsby. She believes every young person should have the opportunity to gain the qualifications and practical skills needed to build a successful career close to home.
Despite being home to world-leading science, technology and industry, Runcorn does not have a dedicated further education college. Sarah secured a debate in Parliament to call for better local access to post-16 education, greater investment in technical training and stronger partnerships between schools, training providers and local employers.
Sarah continues to campaign for more apprenticeships and better local training opportunities, helping young people fulfil their potential while supporting local businesses, economic growth and the future prosperity of our communities.
