Campaigning for fairer tolls on the Mersey Gateway crossings.

Sarah Pochin MP is campaigning for fairer Mersey Gateway tolls for local residents and businesses.

She has raised the issue repeatedly in Parliament, challenged Ministers and written to the organisations responsible. She has also chaired meetings with those involved in the tolls, making sure the concerns of local businesses are heard.

Sarah is calling for targeted support for regular commuters, key workers, carers, charities and local businesses, so people are not punished simply for living or working south of the Mersey.

She has also challenged the Government and Halton Borough Council to stop blaming each other and deliver a practical solution.
